The binding constraint is usually stability at reach rather than tonnage — a pruner at full extension loads the carrier at its least stable geometry, so check the lift chart at your actual working radius.

What is the difference between dry cut and green cut capacity?

Dry cut refers to dead or seasoned timber; green cut to living timber, which is denser and tougher. Published figures for the same head can differ by 20 mm or more. Australian corridor work is almost always green and frequently hardwood, so the green figure is the one to specify against.

Can a pruning head replace a crew with chainsaws?
